LOS ANGELES (Nov. 16, 2016) – The name association is obvious – Nissan Rogue meet “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” the first-ever standalone Star Wars story. It’s only fitting then that Nissan and Lucasfilm, the studio behind the latest addition to the Star Wars movie empire, join forces for the first-ever full-size production vehicle to include Star Wars- branded elements, the “Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition.”

Based on the extensively redesigned 2017 Nissan Rogue compact SUV, just 5,400 copies of the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition will be produced – 5,000 for customers in the United States and 400 for Canada. In addition to the wide range of custom features and equipment, each vehicle also comes with an exclusive numbered, full-size replica collectible Death Trooper helmet.

“The Nissan Rogue and the first Star Wars standalone movie share more than just a name. The Star Wars film franchise has pushed the boundaries of technology since the debut of the original episode nearly 40 years ago,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc. “Nissan is doing the same with its industry-leading cars, trucks and SUVs like the new Rogue – our most advanced Rogue to date – so it’s natural that the two join forces.”

The 2017 Nissan Rogue is showcased in a series of Star Wars-themed marketing efforts by Nissan that demonstrate the vehicle’s Intelligent Safety Shield technologies and the Nissan Rogue’s ability to “take on any battle.” The first special effects-heavy commercials debuted in late October. But while the marketing shows the new Rogue in a simulated Star Wars battlefield, the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition stands on its own as a truly unique, collectible, real-world vehicle.

Based on the 2017 Rogue SV grade level with Sun and Sound Touring Package (Panoramic
Moonroof and Bose® audio) and offered in front-wheel and all-wheel drive, it features
signature LED headlights, black grille and lower finisher, black rear door finisher, black roof
rails and door handles, D-pillar “Rebel Alliance” and “Galactic Empire” logo decals, “Star
Wars” logo clear rear bumper protector and Rogue One logo badging on the front doors.
Inside, special features include logo carpeted floor mats, “Star Wars” logo illuminated
kickplates, “Rebel Alliance” and “Galactic Empire” logos in cupholder inserts and interior
accent lighting. It is offered in just two colors – Magnetic Black and Glacier White – and one
interior color, charcoal.

Like all 2017 Rogue models, the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition is
powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lbft
of torque (a new, first-ever Rogue Hybrid will be available by the end of 2016, but not
offered with the Limited Edition). Also standard are the next-generation Nissan Xtronic
transmission with Sport and Eco Mode switches, Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross
Traffic Alert (RCTA) – along with Nissan Intelligent KeyTM with Push Button Start, Bluetooth®
Hands-free Phone System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth®, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio
(SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) and Bose® audio system with nine
speakers.

“For most fans, their love affair with Star Wars started in childhood, with hours spent
playing with miniature replicas of the various X-wing fighters and other vehicles,” added
Tucker. “Now, for a special few, they have a chance to engage with a full-scale collectible,
the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. And more than just a big kid toy,
the Limited Edition is every inch the real thing – a Rogue for every adventure you can
imagine.”

The Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition package will be available for a Manufacturer’s
Suggested Retail Price1 (MSRP) of $1,990, and is only available on 2017 Rogue SV equipped
with the Sun and Sound Touring Package. All 5,400 Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition
vehicles are assembled by Nissan in Smyrna, TN. For more information on the 2017 Rogue
